Sarah McDougall The team is proposing the following solution. Let me know if you have any concerns:
So if we look at this from another perspective. Technically, the notice tasks rely on the fee task to be finished since we want the fee to be seen in the notices. And if we don't wait for the fee to be applied in our system there is no way to guarantee that the fee will be visible in the notices.
So the solution is to set notice tasks to be triggered 0 days after the fee task. This should guarantee that the fee will be visible in the notice and the tag will be right.

Tony Gardner I understand this and see how it should work. I would just want to confirm that when chaining emails/documents so that they come after the fee, then the expected outcome is that both 1.) the late fee will show in its segment on the table (literally be visible), and 2.) that it will also be included in/update the total.
Let's meet up about this tomorrow if we can, because looking at my screenshot again I think I am actually confused by the layout of the table and I want to make sure that I understand to ensure that I am weighing in on this accurately.

Tony Gardner based on our conversation about this today, I think the proposed solution of chaining the notice after the fee will work for our needs on this one. I can make this change for Storage 4 U then monitor next month to make sure the late fee is correctly figured into the total balance due for any late notices.
